New Flats Hunter Fishing Artwork!

I am proud to offer the first in a series of limited edition giclees, canvas giclees, and mini-prints that capture my personal experiences of the essence and wonder of flats fishing.

My love of drawing and painting from an early age drove me to chose art as a career path later in life. I honed my craft at the Cleveland Inst. of Art and although my career took a turn towards design I still paint for relaxation. It was only natural to combine my love of painting with my love of fishing and the outdoors. The results are what you see here.

Whenever family duties or responsilbilites keep me from the water I can always escape within my paintings. I prefer to paint in a "loose" slightly impressionist style compared to much of the photo realistic fishing art that is so common today. As seen in my work below, I like to focus on the experience and granduer of the magnificent locations that flats fishing takes place in. It is my goal to capture these incredible settings in nature and transport the viewer in their mind's eye so that they may relate to similar personal past adventures of their own.
