Square One:

7. New Bulkheads
8. The Cockpit Floor

While removing all of the bulkheads I came to a crossroads. Until now I wasn't sure if I was going to replace everything with wood or go the composite route. Having seen first-hand what water can do to wood I decided I was definitely going to replace everything with composite.

By everything, I literally meant everything. I was going to take this Challenger back to square one and rebuild her completely out of composite material and epoxies. Hopefully this will ensure she'll be lighter, stronger, and less prone to decay then she would be if I used wood and polyester.

Now that my decision had been made and my direction was clear there was nothing left to do except forge ahead. That could mean only one thing...

Grind, Grind, Grind...
